Feeds, forages and feeding

During the 4th DDF meeting, one day was dedicated to the theme of "Business solutions for year-round availability of quality feeds for dairy in Tanzania"
To set the scene, Dr. Angello J. Mwilawa et al. gave a key note presentation along a framework that focused on farm-level feed resources and off farm resources.
A working group was constituted that decided to work through four task forces:
- Policy and legal framework
- Information and capacity building
- Technological innovations and tools
- Forage seed systems
